Our Words Have Power

“Death and Life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21

Hello ladies, I pray everyone has had a positive start to the new week. I want to share with you an encouraging thought. I know you have already heard it said, our words have power. However, I want to urge us as women to be more intentional about what comes out of our mouth.

"What you feed will grow"

If you carelessly and habitually allow negative words about yourself, cursing, and constant complaints come out of your mouth on a daily basis, that is what your life will attract. You will find yourself in the midst of people who speak negatively about themselves and others, cursing, and always complaining about something. You will get tired of listening to them and eventually try to avoid them.

Sisters, we are on a quest this new year to reinvent ourselves. Iron sharpens iron. If we work together to encourage and hold each other accountable, we can all make it. My desire is for all women, from all walks of life, to stand tall, hold your head up, take back your power by speaking into existence the life you desire. Ladies, let us no longer speak negatively about ourselves or other women.

From this moment on, let's use our words to encourage, compliment, empower and uplift each other. We can do it. “…in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37.
