Good morning ladies, I pray that you have had a peaceful rest last night and are ready to embrace the day.
Remembering “this is the day that the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
I want to empower you to stand up and live your truth. Have the courage to unapologetically be the best version of you. Do not let your past mistakes define you, do not let the opinions of others label you and do not let your present circumstances shrink you. Just be you! One of your main goals on earth is to work to become the best version of you.
Living life and going through trials and tribulations help us do that. So don’t judge yourself harshly when you lose a job, get a divorce, or go through a major change in life. Please understand this, life goes in seasons. Some seasons put us on the mountain top, while other seasons take us down in the valley. But no matter how your life changes, you must remain the same. Be YOU! Be who God created you to be and love yourself. People have more respect for someone who presents a true version of themselves.
Life is more enjoyable when you live your truth, speak your truth, and tell the truth to yourself. And the truth is…you are unique! You are beautiful, you are one of a kind, you are creative, and no one can do you better than you. So, be you. Unapologetically YOU!
Love and Blessings,
Dr. Doris
Call to action: Starting today, be unapologetically you. If you truly don't want to do something, don't obligate yourself to it and later regret it. If you want to cut your hair in a new style, do it. It's your hair and it will grow back. If you want to drink coffee instead of tea, it's your choice, do it. Be you and enjoy your life.
