Daughter of the King: Reclaiming Royal Confidence

Hello Queen,

I pray you are enjoying this wonderful Wednesday and are looking forward to a blessed and prosperous week. My beautiful sister, I was thinking the other day when I was sitting and having coffee and conversation with Jesus, that there is something powerful that happens when you as a woman begins to see yourself the way God sees you, not through the broken lens of your past or the false standards of the world, but through the eyes of your Heavenly Father.

I once heard this quote: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”. Marianne Williamson. Therefore, sis, understand that you are not average. You are not forgotten. You are a daughter of the King! Yet, in today’s society, many women have lost touch with that truth. Life, trauma, rejection, or comparison can steal your confidence, blur your identity, and make you question your worth. But this is your moment to reclaim royal confidence.

What is Royal Confidence?

Queen, I’m glad you asked. Royal confidence isn’t arrogance. It’s not self-centeredness. It’s the quiet strength that comes from knowing who you are and whose you are. It's rooted in the understanding that:

  • You were created with divine purpose.

  • You are deeply loved and fully accepted by God.

  • You carry the authority and dignity of the King’s daughter.

Scripture Reflection

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession…”

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

This verse is not a suggestion; it’s a declaration. God calls you royal, chosen, holy, and His. These aren’t labels the world gives; these are truths the Kingdom speaks over you. My beautiful sister, the moment you begin to believe what He says, everything changes. I have always said to my clients, “When you change, everything around you changes.” That is a truth I know far too well.

Reflection Questions
  1. What has tried to rob you of your confidence in the past?

  2. In what areas of your life have you accepted less than what God wants for you?

  3. What does being “a daughter of the King” mean to you personally?

Journal Prompt

Take 10–15 minutes to write a letter from your future, confident self, the version of you who fully believes she is royalty. What does she say about her strength, beauty, and purpose? What has she overcome?

Prayer for Royal Confidence

Father God,

Thank you for calling my sister your daughter. Help her to release every lie that has kept her bound in insecurity or shame. Teach her to walk in the boldness, beauty, and grace of who you say she is. Rebuild her confidence not in what she does, but in who you are. Help her choose to reclaim the royal identity you’ve given her. Crown her with truth and let her reflect Your glory everywhere she goes. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Love and Blessings,

Dr. Doris
