Hello Queen,
I pray you are having a marvelous week so far. I was in my quiet time, having coffee and conversation with Jesus, and I got so fired up and excited about the thought of saying “yes” to myself. There’s something sacred and powerful about a woman who decides…I choose me! I think it’s because, as women, we often put ourselves on the back burner to ensure everyone else in our lives is comfortable and has what they need. But, sis, choosing to say yes to yourself is not a bad thing. You are not saying yes in a selfish way, but in a soul-honoring way. A way that says, “I’m done shrinking. I’m done hiding. I’m done waiting for permission to live fully, love deeply, dream boldly, and show up unapologetically.” So, my beautiful sister, today is your day, and this is your season to say “YES” to yourself, your growth, your healing, your voice, your purpose, and your joy. Say yes to the woman God created you to be.

Saying YES is Sacred
When you say “yes” to yourself, you’re saying:
Yes to becoming who God called you to be
Yes to healing from the past and stepping into your future
Yes to rest, joy, balance, and boundaries
Yes to your voice, your dreams, and your divine assignment
You are not too much. You are not too late. And you are certainly not disqualified. You are right on time for the miracle God is working in you. Yes, you have something the world needs. Don’t let insecurities stop you, don’t let imposter syndrome block you, and don’t let the opinions of others make you feel small (I’m preaching to myself on that one). You can do this! God tells us in His word that if you obey Him, He will guarantee a blessing on whatever you do and wherever you go. (Deuteronomy 28:6 & 8)
Scripture Reflection
“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.”— Psalm 138:8 (ESV)
God has already said “yes” to your purpose. It’s time you agreed with Him. Saying yes to yourself is aligning with heaven’s plan for your life. You are not an afterthought, my sister, you are a masterpiece in motion.
Reflection Questions
Where have I been saying “no” to myself out of fear, guilt, or comparison?
What would change if I boldly said YES to my healing, goals, voice, or faith journey?
What is one area of my life that I can commit to honoring more fully?
Journal Prompt
Write a love letter to yourself beginning with these words: “Dear Me, I’m so proud of you for finally saying YES…”Let the words flow. Speak life into your own soul.
Empowerment Prayer
Father God,
Thank You for reminding my sister that she is worthy of the dreams You’ve placed in her heart. Lead her to say YES to the woman You’ve created her to be. Bless her to say YES to healing, to growth, to peace, to purpose. Help her silence every voice that tells her she’s not enough and to surrender every “no” she’s believed and embrace the “yes” that You’ve already spoken over her life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Celebrate Your YES
My beautiful sister, you don’t need permission to rise; you already have it. You don’t need to wait until everything’s perfect; you’re already worthy. Saying YES to yourself is not the end. It’s the beginning of becoming the radiant, healed, powerful, purpose-filled woman you were born to be.
So, raise your head, straighten your crown, and say it out loud: YES to my worth. YES to my peace. YES to my purpose. YES to ME!
Love and Blessings,
Dr. Doris
