Greetings Queen,
I pray you have had the most amazing start to this week. I want to share something with you that has been on my mind for several weeks and I can’t seem to shake it. I believe the reason is because of everything my female clients are going through. I find myself in every session telling them how God approves of them. Queen, I know we live in a world where the standards of perfection are impossibly high, it’s easy to feel like you are never enough. You may stumble, you may fall, and sometimes, despite your best efforts, you still make mistakes. I understand you strive to balance multiple roles and expectations and the pressure of it all can be overwhelming, to say the least. But I need you to anchor yourself to a profound truth during your most turbulent times:
God approves of you! Not just in your moments of success, but in your struggles and failures too.
Here are a few examples of people who failed yet found grace in God’s eyes which shows you the immeasurable unconditional love of God. David, a man after God's own heart, committed grave sins but was still beloved by God. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet he was chosen to lead the early church. These stories remind us that God’s approval is not contingent on our perfection. Romans 8:38-39 captures this beautiful, blessed assurance: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers... will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This scripture reassures us that nothing can sever the bond of God's love and approval.
Therefore, beautiful daughter of The Most High God, embrace your imperfections. It’s important to recognize that your mistakes do not define you. Instead, they are part of your journey toward becoming the person God intended you to be. Each fall is an opportunity to rise again, each failure a chance to learn and grow. Psalm 37:23-24 offers a comforting promise: "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." This verse is a testament to God's ongoing support and approval, even when you stumble. Sis, here are some practical steps to help you embrace God’s approval.
Prayer and Meditation: Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal His love and approval to you. Meditate on scriptures that affirm His unwavering support.
Community and Family Support: Surround yourself with a community and family that reflects God’s love. Make sure it’s someone who will not judge, criticize, or gossip about your mistakes with others. But they will encourage and uplift you reminding you of God’s love and approval.
Forgive Yourself: Just as God forgives you, it’s crucial to forgive yourself. Let go of past mistakes and embrace God's new mercies each day.
Celebrate Small Wins: Recognize and celebrate your progress, no matter how small. Each step forward is a testament to God's work in your life.
Live in the Light of God’s Approval
As a woman, a wife, or a mother, it’s crucial to remember that your worth is not measured by your achievements or failures or by how others want to judge you, but by God’s endless love and approval. Every time you fall, every mistake you make, know that God’s love for you remains steadfast. He sees your efforts, He knows your heart, and everything going on in your private world that man doesn’t see, and He approves of you just as you are.
Let this truth liberate you from the pressures of perfection. Embrace your journey with all its ups and downs, secure in the knowledge that God’s approval is unwavering. You are loved, you are valued, and in God’s eyes, you are enough.
Love and Blessings,
Dr. Doris
